Correlation Between Trunk Muscles Endurance and Dynamic Balance in Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction
Sponsor: Deraya University
Summary
This cross-sectional observational study aims to investigate the correlation between trunk muscle endurance and dynamic balance in patients with sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJD). Trunk muscle endurance will be assessed using standardized clinical tests (prone isometric chest raise test and trunk flexor endurance test), and dynamic balance will be evaluated using the Biodex Balance System.

Patients with Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction
A single group of 46 patients diagnosed with sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJD) confirmed by at least 3 positive pain provocation tests (FABER, compression, distraction, thigh thrust, and Gaenslen tests). Participants will undergo a single assessment session to evaluate trunk muscle endurance (prone isometric chest raise test and trunk flexor endurance test) and dynamic balance (Biodex Balance System).
