Plasma Exeresis Plus NB-UVB Versus NB-UVB Alone for Stable Vitiligo
Sponsor: University of Faisalabad
Summary
The goal of this quasi-experimental clinical trial is to compare the effectiveness of plasma exeresis combined with narrowband ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) phototherapy versus NB-UVB monotherapy in patients with stable non-segmental vitiligo aged 8 to 65 years. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does plasma exeresis combined with NB-UVB produce greater repigmentation than NB-UVB alone after 24 weeks? * Is combination therapy associated with better clinical response as measured by the Vitiligo Area Scoring Index (VASI)? Researchers will compare plasma exeresis plus NB-UVB with NB-UVB alone to determine whether the combination treatment improves repigmentation. Participants will: * Receive either plasma exeresis once monthly plus NB-UVB twice weekly, or NB-UVB phototherapy alone twice weekly. * Attend follow-up visits every 4 weeks for 24 weeks. * Have their vitiligo severity assessed using the Vitiligo Area Scoring Index (VASI) at baseline and during follow-up.

Interventions
Plasma Exeresis
Plasma exeresis is performed once monthly using a handheld device. The procedure involves controlled treatment of depigmented vitiligo lesions with localized thermal injury to stimulate repigmentation.
Narrowband Ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) Phototherapy
Narrowband ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) phototherapy is administered twice weekly for 24 weeks for the treatment of stable non-segmental vitiligo.
