Early Functional Outcomes After Open Versus Percutaneous Repair of Acute Achilles Tendon Ruptures
Sponsor: University Hospital, Strasbourg, France
Summary
This study aims to compare early functional outcomes and postoperative complications following open versus percutaneous repair of acute Achilles tendon ruptures in patients younger than 55 years admitted to Hautepierre Hospital. It will assess whether percutaneous repair reduces skin-related complications and whether open repair provides better early muscle strength recovery.
