Comparative Effects of METs and Core Strengthening on Anterior Sacral Torsion Dysfunction
This study aims to compare the effects of Muscle Energy Technique (MET) and core strengthening exercises in patients with anterior sacral torsion dysfunction. It will evaluate changes in pain intensity, sacral tilt, and functional disability following the interventions. Participants will be randomly allocated into two groups: Group A will receive MET targeting specific muscles, while Group B will perform core strengthening exercises to improve trunk stability and muscular control. The outcomes will be assessed using the Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) for pain, smartphone inclinometer for sacral tilt, and Modified Oswestry Disability Index (MODI) for disability. The findings may help determine which intervention is more effective in improving these outcomes in patients with anterior sacral torsion dysfunction.
