Music Therapy for Rehabilitation in Post-stroke Non-fluent Aphasia: the Indian Adaptation
The goal of this Interventional Study is to develop and test the Indian Adaptation of Melodic Intonation Therapy (MIT) for Indian patients in with post-stroke Non-Fluent Aphasia (PSNFA). The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: • To develop the MIT Indian Adaptation tool and check its feasibility • To compare the MIT with standard speech rehabilitation in patient with PSNFA. Participants will undergo Speech Rehabilitation according to the developed module and the standard treatment will be given in the comparator arm. The speech recovery at 12 weeks will be compared in both treatment arms.

Comparing Traditional Semantic Feature Analysis (tSFA) and Semantic Feature Analysis + Metacognitive Strategy Training (SFA+MST)
The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the effectiveness of traditional Semantic Feature Analysis (SFA) treatment to a modified SFA protocol that includes Metacognitive Strategy Training (SFA+MST) for adults with acquired aphasia. The main questions it aims to answer are: * What are the comparative outcomes in picture naming accuracy and strategy use during picture naming following 2 months of traditional SFA versus SFA + MST in adults with acquired aphasia? * What are the comparative outcomes in percent of informative content and rate of informative content during spontaneous speech production following 2 months of traditional SFA versus SFA + MST in adults with acquired aphasia? Researchers will compare outcomes between these two treatments to see if SFA+MST yields larger effects in picture naming and spontaneous speech outcomes than traditional SFA. Participants will complete: * 5-7 pre-treatment assessment sessions where they will be asked to name pictures, tell stories/describe pictures, answer questions, and complete questionnaires, * 3 treatment sessions of SFA \*OR\* SFA+MST per week for 8 weeks, for a total of 24 sessions, * 7 weekly probes (i.e., short, intermittent assessments throughout the treatment phase), * 3 post-treatment assessment sessions immediately after treatment ends, where they will complete the same assessment tasks as they did pre-treatment (e.g., naming pictures, telling stories, etc.), * 2 retention assessment sessions, one 30 days and the other 60 days following the final treatment session, where they will be asked to name pictures, tell stories/describe pictures, and describe what they learned during the study.

Effects of PACE Technique in Patients With Aphasia
Aphasia, a communication disorder often resulting from him brain injury such as stroke, impacts an individual's ability to understand or produce language. It can manifest in various forms, such as difficulties with speaking, writing, reading, and comprehension, which severely impair daily functioning and quality of life. For adults with aphasia, regaining communication skills is often a critical aspect of rehabilitation, demanding a combination of therapeutic strategies. The Promoting Aphasics' Communicative Effectiveness (PACE) technique is a widely recognized approach to improve communication in individuals with aphasia. Developed in the late 20th century, the PACE technique focuses on naturalistic communication, encouraging patients to utilize any available communicative means verbal or non-verbal to convey messages effectively. By simulating real-world conversational scenarios in therapy, PACE aims to enhance both expressive and receptive communication skills, thereby facilitating better interaction in social contexts. This approach is especially beneficial for individuals with severe expressive language impairments, as it emphasizes the overall success of communication rather than linguistic accuracy. A descriptive experimental research design was followed in the present study to explore the effect of PACE technique in adults with Aphasia. The study will be conducted at DHQ Faisalabad. The Duration of study is relied on 16 sessions. Three sessions will be conducted per week and the duration of a session is about forty minutes. Sample size (N=16) (Control group =8, Experimental group=8). Patients who were identified with mile to moderate level of Aphasia are age of 45 to 65 years old. Group A will be an experimental group (who will receive both Conventional and Promoting Aphasic Communicative Effectiveness technique). Group B will be a controlled group (who will receive just Conventional Therapy). A randomized Clinical trial will employ to collect data from participants approach at DHQ Faisalabad.
