PRECISION-E2: Teverelix in Women With Endometriosis - Pharmacodynamics, Safety and Precision Medicine Correlates
PRECISION-E2 is a Phase IIa randomized, placebo-controlled study evaluating the pharmacodynamic profile, safety and tolerability of teverelix in premenopausal women with moderate-to-severe pain associated with endometriosis in the United Arab Emirates. The study will characterize the magnitude and duration of estradiol suppression following a single administration of teverelix and evaluate dose and route of administration, including subcutaneous and intramuscular administration, to inform subsequent clinical development. The study also incorporates a prospective precision medicine component designed to explore associations between genomic variation and pharmacodynamic and clinical response to teverelix. In participants enrolled in the Emirati Genome Program, genomic data will be integrated with hormonal, pharmacokinetic and clinical outcomes to investigate potential biological determinants of treatment response.

Clinical Impact of Ultrasound Diagnosis in Bowel Endometriosis
This retrospective single-centre study evaluates how accurately preoperative ultrasound detects bowel involvement in women with deep endometriosis, using surgical findings as the reference. It also assesses whether ultrasound correctly locates and measures bowel lesions, and whether ultrasound lesion size predicts the type of bowel surgery performed (shaving, discoid excision or segmental resection). Data come from the medical records of patients operated at the Endometriosis Clinic of Hôpital Erasme, Brussels.

The Association Between Deep Endometriosis and the Occurrence of Colorectal Carcinoma
The goal of this study is to identify the molecular or genetic mechanisms that may predispose patients with bowel endometriosis to an increased risk of colorectal carcinoma. The study will include patients for whom surgical treatment of bowel endometriosis is clinically indicated. This research would represent a significant advancement in evaluating the necessity of surgical intervention in asymptomatic patients or those with mild symptoms. Furthermore, it would provide a broader insight into the systemic impact of endometriosis on other organ systems, ultimately improving risk assessment and preventive measures.

Assessing the Efficacy of Indocyanine Green for Ureter Identification During Robot-Assisted Surgery in Advanced-Stage Endometriosis
The goal of this side-randomized, self-controlled trial, 1-site study is to explore the efficacy of Indocyanine Green Fluorescence (ICG) for Intraoperative Ureter Identification During Robot-Assisted Single-Site Surgery in Advanced-Stage Endometriosis. Researchers will perform temporary ureteral stent using indocyanine green fluorescence for intraoperative ureteral identification on either the left or right side of subjects who are undergoing a robotic assisted transumbilical resection of advanced endometriosis. Participants will be randomized to receive ICG-assisted ureteral identification on either the left or right side. Randomization will be conducted using a computer-generated block randomization method. The primary aim is to determine whether ICG-assisted ureter visualization can reduce operative time for endometriosis resection and ureterolysis, and minimize the risk of ureteral injury. Secondary objectives are to assess the feasibility and safety of temporary ureteral ICG stenting for intraoperative ureter identification in advanced endometriosis.

Histologic Comparison of Ablative Techniques for Endometriosis
To our knowledge, no other human studies directly compare the effectiveness of the various ablative technologies. We set out to design a study to directly compare ablative energy sources and evaluate their ability to destroy native endometriosis tissue in humans.
