Physiological and Molecular Adaptations to Different Training Modalities in National-level Kayak Athletes
This interventional study evaluated physiological, molecular, and performance adaptations to different high-intensity training modalities in national-level kayak athletes. Thirty-two athletes were allocated to four parallel groups: high-intensity interval training (HIIT), sprint interval training (SIT), combined training (COMB), or a control condition (CON). The study protocol included a six-week detraining period before baseline (PRE) assessments, followed by a six-week training intervention and a subsequent six-week detraining period. Physiological assessments and blood sampling were performed at PRE and immediately after the training intervention (POST) to evaluate training-related changes. Sprint kayak performance over 500 m was assessed at PRE and POST, with additional assessments conducted 15 and 30 days after completion of the subsequent six-week detraining period. The study aimed to examine the effects of different training modalities on physiological responses, circulating molecular markers, and 500-m kayak performance, as well as changes in performance following detraining.

Effects of Two Endurance Training Programs on 5-km Running Performance in Recreational Runners
This study will examine the effects of two 8-week endurance training programs on 5-km running performance in recreational runners. Participants will be randomly assigned to a lactate threshold training group, a pyramidal-to-polarized endurance training group, or a control group that maintains usual physical activity without receiving the study training program. Before and after the intervention, participants will complete assessments of 5-km running performance, aerobic fitness, lactate threshold, running economy, blood lactate responses, and brain activity recorded before and after maximal exercise. The study will compare changes among the three groups and examine whether physiological and post-exercise neural responses are associated with improvements in running performance. The main purpose is to determine whether the two training programs produce different improvements in 5-km running performance and to better understand the physiological and neural adaptations associated with endurance training in recreational runners.

SPORT-SPECIFIC HIIT IN ELITE KICKBOXERS
This study examines how sport-specific high-intensity interval training (HIIT) affects the body in elite kickboxers. Participants are randomly assigned to either a HIIT training group or a control group. The HIIT group performs supervised sport-specific training for eight weeks, while the control group continues their usual training. Blood samples are collected before and after the training period. The main goal of this study is to determine whether HIIT changes levels of exercise-related proteins such as apelin and irisin. These proteins may reflect how the body adapts to intense training. The findings may help researchers and coaches better understand the effects of high-intensity training and may support the development of safer and more effective training programs for athletes.
