Investigating Central Contributions to Fatigue Using Non-invasive Brain Stimulation

The goal of this interventional study is to understand the contribution of the central components to the manifestation of neuromuscular fatigue in stroke survivors. The study will include adults with a first-ever stroke in the subacute phase. The main question it aims to answer: • How does the brain activity contribute to the manifestation of neuromuscular fatigue in stroke survivors? Researchers will compare stroke participants receiving active vs sham tACS in a single session before the fatiguing contractions to determine whether central changes can influence fatigue onset/progression. Participants will: * Perform repeated leg muscle contractions until fatigue while seated in an experimental setup * Receive either active or sham tACS for 20 minutes before the fatiguing contractions. * Wear non-invasive sensors to record brain activity (EEG) and muscle activity (EMG) during the task * Complete the study during a single experimental session in which fatigue-related changes will be measured throughout the task

Studying Fatigue and Movement After Stroke

The goal of this observational study is to learn how neuromuscular fatigue develops after stroke and how changes in brain activity, muscle activity, and their interaction contribute to reduced motor performance in stroke survivors compared to healthy individuals. The study will include adults with a first-ever stroke in the subacute phase and age-matched healthy volunteers. The main questions it aims to answer are: * How does neuromuscular fatigue develop during repeated muscle contractions after stroke compared to healthy individuals? * How do brain activity, muscle activity, and brain-muscle interaction change during fatigue after stroke? Researchers will compare stroke participants and healthy control participants to determine whether fatigue-related changes are more strongly associated with altered brain activity, altered muscle activity, or disrupted brain-muscle communication after stroke. Participants will: * Perform repeated leg muscle contractions until fatigue while seated in an experimental setup * Wear non-invasive sensors to record brain activity (EEG) and muscle activity (EMG) during the task * Complete the study during a single experimental session in which fatigue-related changes will be measured throughout the task

Hemorrhage Stroke Decision Making Model Based Deep Learning (BrainHemoAI System)

Although hemorrhagic stroke also has the characteristics of high mortality and disability rates, and constitutes a major public health problem worldwide, there is a relative lack of in-depth research teams for hemorrhagic stroke in China. The current preoperative imaging evaluation of spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage is still limited to the traditional Tada formula, and there are subjective differences in diagnosis among different doctors, making it difficult to achieve homogenization in clinical decision-making. Hemorrhagic stroke is a common and frequently occurring disease in Jiangxi Province. Therefore, establishing a new diagnosis and treatment system focused on hemorrhagic stroke can not only fill the research gap in this field in China, improve the accuracy and homogeneity of hemorrhagic stroke diagnosis and treatment, but also promote related research progress to reduce the mortality and disability rates of this disease and improve the clinical prognosis of patients.
