NCT07815977
Effect of Cover Screws and Healing Abutments on Marginal Bone Loss
This randomized clinical trial aims to compare the effects of using a cover screw or a healing abutment during dental implant placement on short-term marginal bone loss. Participants receiving dental implants will be randomly assigned to either the cover screw group or the healing abutment group. Marginal bone levels around the implants will be evaluated radiographically at baseline and at the 3-month follow-up. The study aims to determine whether the healing approach used at the time of implant placement affects marginal bone level changes during the early healing period.

Autogenous Soft Tissue Grafts for Primary Closure Over Immediately Placed Dental Implants
The aim of this interventional study is to evaluate the best method to place the autogenous soft tissue grafts for primary closure over immediately-placed dental implants. \- Primary hypothesis, there is no differences between the two techniques of placement.

Implant Placement Depth and Peri-Implant Tissue Outcomes
The primary aim of this randomized clinical trial is to evaluate the influence of subcrestal implant placement depth (-2 mm vs -4 mm) on peri-implant marginal bone level changes, including marginal bone loss and bone remodeling. Secondary outcomes include implant success, peri-implant probing depth (PPD), and bleeding on probing (BoP). Partially edentulous patients requiring fixed implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation with two implants in posterior maxillary or mandibular regions will be included. Implants will be placed subcrestally at either -2 mm or -4 mm from the bone crest, following a submerged healing protocol. Allocation to insertion depth will be randomized. Marginal bone level changes will be assessed using standardized periapical radiographs at second-stage surgery, prosthesis placement, and at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months after functional loading. PPD and BoP will be recorded at the same time points.

Marginal Bone Level Around Dental Implants in Periodontitis Patients
This study evaluates and compares marginal bone level changes around dental implants with two different surface characteristics in patients with a history of periodontitis. Participants will receive dental implants and will be followed up for one year to assess bone level changes around the implants.

Early Bone Loss in Dental Implants
This retrospective observational study aims to evaluate early marginal bone loss around dental implants using panoramic radiographs. Radiographic records of patients who underwent mandibular dental implant surgery and implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation will be reviewed. Marginal bone loss will be measured on the mesial and distal aspects of each implant at final restoration delivery and at follow-up periods after prosthetic loading. The study will also assess patient-, implant-, and prosthesis-related factors associated with marginal bone loss.

Evaluation of Fluid Biomarkers Around Implants Exhibiting Early Stage Periimplant Bone Loss
This study aimed to compare biological mediators known to be important in peri-implant diseases in implants with and without early stage marginal bone loss. A total of 118 implants in 59 patients were designated as test and control groups. The radiographic and periodontal data of the included implants, along with peri-implant sulcus fluid samples, were evaluated.

Influence of Residual Bone Height on Marginal Bone Loss Around Implants Following Lateral Sinus Floor Augmentation With Deproteinized Bovine Bone Mineral
Data collection will be done on all patients who underwent a lateral maxillary sinus floor augmentation in the Faculty of Dental Medicine, both in the Periodontology Department and in the Oral Surgery Department. Pre-surgical residual bone height will be measured on patients with a preoperative CBCT, and marginal bone loss will be measured in patients with a postoperative periapical radiograph that dates at least 3 years after implant placement. In contrast to other studies who only associated between the presurgical residual bone height and implant survival / success rate, this study design takes a more in depth approach and measures the exact marginal bone loss on each implant. In addition, other factors will be taken into consideration (implant type, smoking status, diabetes status) to eliminate any confounding factors.

Subcrestal vs Juxtacrestal PRAMA Implants With Variable Necks
The goal of this clinical trial is to understand how different implant neck designs and placement depths affect the surrounding bone and peri-implant tissue (the tissue around a dental implant) in adults who need implants in the back areas of the mouth (molars and premolars). The main questions it aims to answer are: Does placing implants deeper under the bone crest (subcrestally) help preserve more bone and peri-implant tissue over time? Do implants with longer, conical necks and micro-threaded surfaces result in more stable peri-implant tissue than implants with shorter necks? Researchers will compare three types of one-piece dental implants with different neck heights (short, standard, and long), placed at different depths in the jawbone, to determine which combination better maintains bone and peri-implant tissue levels. Participants will: Receive two dental implants in the posterior upper or lower jaw Be randomly assigned to one of three groups depending on implant neck design and placement depth Undergo implant surgery using a digital workflow, with healing over three months Be rehabilitated with custom zirconia bridges Return for regular clinical and imaging checkups over a period of at least 3 years This study aims to generate evidence that helps clinicians choose implant designs and techniques that promote long-term peri-implant tissue health.
