Effect of Video -Based vs Standard ınformation on Maternal Anxiety and Procedure Decision in Pregnant Woman Offered Amniocentesis or Cvs
This prospective study evaluates the impact of video-based patient education compared to standard verbal informed consent on state anxiety levels and procedure acceptance rates in pregnant women undergoing invasive prenatal diagnostic testing (amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling). Participants are assigned to four groups based on their video preference and procedural recommendation to assess changes in anxiety scores (STAI-S) before and after counseling, as well as final decisions regarding the procedure.

Effect of Spiritual-Based Clinical Hypnotherapy on Maternal Anxiety and Infant Weight Gain
This randomized controlled study evaluates whether spiritual-based clinical hypnotherapy can reduce anxiety among breastfeeding mothers and whether changes in maternal anxiety are associated with infant weight gain. The study includes 50 breastfeeding mothers with infants aged 0-6 months who have mild to moderate anxiety. Participants are randomly assigned to either an intervention group receiving spiritual-based clinical hypnotherapy or a control group receiving guided spiritual care without hypnotherapy. The intervention is provided twice weekly for eight weeks, with each session lasting approximately 45-60 minutes. Maternal anxiety is assessed using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) before and after the intervention, while infant weight is measured at baseline and after a two-month follow-up period. The study is conducted at three primary healthcare centers in Bone District, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Restrained vs Gripping String Techniques in Patients Undergoing Cesarean Delivery
This randomized controlled trial will compare two upper-extremity restraint techniques in patients undergoing elective cesarean delivery under neuraxial anesthesia. Participants will be randomly assigned to either standard forearm restraint placement or wrist-level gripping restraint placement. The study will evaluate whether the position of the restraint affects maternal anxiety during and after cesarean delivery. Anxiety will be measured at several perioperative time points using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-6). Secondary outcomes include pain, patient satisfaction, physiological measures such as heart rate and blood pressure, postpartum distress and mood, and restraint-related safety events. The study aims to determine whether wrist-level gripping restraints may reduce anxiety and improve the patient experience compared with standard forearm restraints.

The Effect of Emotional Freedom Technique on Parents' Anxiety Level: Newborn Hearing Screening
Newborn hearing screening (NHS) is a standard procedure that often triggers acute anxiety in parents. While Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has demonstrated efficacy in reducing psychological distress across various clinical settings, its specific application to maternal anxiety during the neonatal screening period remains under-researched. This study addresses this gap by investigating the impact of a targeted EFT intervention on anxiety levels in mothers awaiting their newborns' first hearing tests. The primary objective is to determine if a brief, 15-minute EFT session reduces maternal anxiety more effectively than a standard waiting period. Participants were randomly assigned to either an intervention group, where they perform a structured acupoint tapping sequence, or a control group that received no active intervention. Anxiety was assessed using validated scales immediately before and after the 15-minute period to capture acute changes in distress. Due to clinical environment conditions and hospital accompaniment patterns, the study was completed with a final sample of 70 mothers.

Virtual Reality Versus Intravenous Dexmedetomidine on Maternal Anxiety, Stress, Hemodynamics, and Neonatal Outcomes During Cesarean Section
This study aims to compare the efficacy of intravenous dexmedetomidine infusion versus virtual reality (VR) in reducing maternal anxiety, stress, and hemodynamic instability during cesarean section and their effects on neonatal outcome as respiration and heart rate.
