Mindfulness-Based Education For Women With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), also known as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), is the most common endocrinologic disorder to affect women. Despite this, the disease's pathophysiology remains unclear. This has hindered the diagnosis of the disease and the appropriate treatment for millions of individuals. The long-term health sequelae associated with PCOS, future directions, and areas of needed research in this often-overlooked disease. Women with PCOS may experience menstrual symptoms, increased stress, and difficulties in managing the physical and emotional effects of the condition. Supportive approaches that improve symptom management and quality of life may be beneficial in addition to routine care. The aim of this randomized controlled study is to evaluate the effect of mindfulness-based PCOS education on menstrual symptoms, stress levels, and quality of life in women with PCOS. The study will examine whether a structured mindfulness-based education program can support women in managing PCOS-related symptoms and improving their overall well-being. Women diagnosed with PCOS who meet the study eligibility criteria will be invited to participate. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention group or the control group. Participants in the intervention group will receive a mindfulness-based PCOS education program, while those in the control group will receive routine care without it. Researchers will assess participants' menstrual symptoms, stress levels, and quality of life using validated measurement tools before and after the intervention. The findings of this study will provide information about the potential role of mindfulness-based education as a supportive approach in the management of PCOS and may contribute to the development of patient-centered education programs for women with PCOS.

The Effect of Spinal Stabilization Training in Women With Dysmenorrhea

The study, designed as a randomized controlled experimental trial, was conducted at Tonya Vocational School. Institutional approval was obtained to carry out the study at Tonya Vocational School (Appendix-). Participants who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and voluntarily agreed to participate were required to sign an informed consent form prior to the initiation of the study. Following the acquisition of informed consent, 50 women with dysmenorrhea, identified based on the WaLIDD score, were randomly allocated into two groups using a simple randomization method (sealed envelope): 25 participants in the experimental group and 25 in the control group.Baseline assessments were performed by the same researcher within the first week immediately following the most recent menstrual period, prior to the commencement of the intervention. Participants' demographic characteristics and menstrual cycle information were recorded using a data collection form before the exercise intervention. Pain intensity was evaluated using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS); menstrual symptom severity using the Menstrual Symptom Scale; body awareness using the Body Awareness Questionnaire; muscle endurance using the McGill trunk endurance tests; lumbopelvic mobility using the Modified Schober test; activities of daily living using the Lawton-Brody Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Scale; problem-solving skills using the Problem Solving Inventory; decision-making styles using the Melbourne Decision Making Questionnaire; quality of life using the SF-12 questionnaire; and physical activity levels using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF). All measurements were conducted within the first week immediately following the most recent menstrual period, both before (baseline assessment) and after (post-intervention assessment) the exercise program.

Effera Dose Response: Women's Health

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if a human equivalent lactoferrin supplement (effera®) can improve menstrual symptoms, mood, and quality of life in healthy women aged 18-40. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does effera® reduce the severity of menstrual symptoms? Does effera® improve mood, gastrointestinal symptoms, and overall well-being? Researchers will compare three different doses of effera® to a placebo (a look-alike supplement with no active ingredient) to see if the supplement improves these outcomes. Participants will: Take the assigned supplement (effera® or placebo) daily for 12 weeks Complete online questionnaires about menstrual symptoms, mood, and health Optionally share sleep and activity data from a wearable device
