Harvesting Cells for Experimental Cancer Treatments
Background: The NCI Surgery Branch has developed experimental therapies that involve taking white blood cells from patients' tumor or from their blood, growing them in the laboratory in large numbers, and then giving the cells back to the patient. Objective: This study will collect white blood cells from normal volunteers and white blood cells and/or tumor cells, from patients who have been screened for and are eligible for a NCI Surgery Branch treatment protocol. The cells collected from normal volunteers will be used as growth factors for the cells during the period of laboratory growth. The cells and/or tumor from patients will be used to make the cell treatment product. Eligibility: Patients must be eligible for a NCI Surgery Branch Treatment Protocol Normal Volunteers must meet the criteria for blood donation Design Both patients and normal Volunteers will undergo apheresis. Patients will then undergo further testing as required by the treatment protocol. There is no required follow up for normal volunteers.

A Study of Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) and Surgical Stabilization for People With Cancer That Has Spread to the Bone
The purpose of this study is to test the safety of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) followed by surgical stabilization within 1 week. All participants will have metastatic cancer in the bone (bone metastases), and they will be at risk of pathologic fracture (broken bone caused by a disease). Another purpose of this study is to see if the treatment approach of SBRT followed by surgical stabilization within 1 week prevents cancer from returning to the bone.

Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) Plus Bevacizumab for Liver Metastases
Trans arterial chemoembolization (TACE) has emerged as a treatment option for chemotherapy-refractory diseases in Liver metastases. By delivering chemotherapy agents directly to the tumor site, TACE can maximize local drug concentrations and reduce systemic adverse reactions. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that functions as an angiogenesis inhibitor. It works by slowing the growth of new blood vessels by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). The application of Bevacizumab during TACE has not been reported. In this study, we will evaluate the the overall survival (OS)、efficacy, and safety of the application of Bevacizumab during TACE in patients with Liver Metastases by designing an open, single-arm phase II clinical study.
