S-TiUltra Implant Study

This prospective clinical study will compare early healing and implant stability between two Nobel Biocare dental implant systems, NobelReplace S-TiUltra and NobelReplace CC TiUnite. Approximately 30 implants will be randomly assigned to one of the two implant groups and followed for 12 weeks after placement. Implant stability will be assessed using resonance frequency analysis at implant placement and at approximately 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12 weeks. Clinical healing, radiographic findings, and other treatment-related outcomes will also be evaluated during the follow-up period.

Effect of Changing Grafting Sequences During Sinus Lifting & Simultaneous Implant Placement in the Gained Bone Using Customized Surgical Guide

The aim of this randomized clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of changing the sequence of bone grafting during maxillary sinus lifting and simultaneous dental implant placement. The study compares a traditional sequence (sinus elevation, implant placement, then bone grafting) with a modified sequence (sinus elevation, bone grafting, then implant placement). Both procedures utilize a customized surgical guide and are performed on patients with a vertical bone measurement of 5 mm or slightly more. The primary goal is to assess bone density, along with secondary outcomes including vertical bone height gained, bone volume, and implant stability.

Clinical Assessment of the Efficacy of Amy Check Versus Osstell Regarding the Accuracy of Implant Stability Measurements When Inserted With Graftless Closed Sinus Lifting: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial

The aim of the study is to compare clinically the efficacy of Amy check device versus Osstell device in evaluating the implant stability of implants placed simultaneously with transcrestal sinus lifting.

All-ceramic Restorations: a Retrospective and Prospective Study

The goal of this observational study is to evaluate the survival and success rate of ceramic restorations on teeth and implants done in the department of fixed prosthodontics at the CHU of Liege for the last 25 years. The main question it aims to answer is: Are ceramic restorations reliable and sustainable ? Participants already treated with ceramic restoration will answer survey questions about their restoration once a year, in parallel with clinical evaluation following Hickel et al 2010 (Science Committee of the FDI World Dental Federation -FDI) to assess esthetic, functional, mechanical and biological properties of the restorations .

Abutment Hydrophilicity on Soft Tissue Morphogenesis

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of abutment surface bioactivation via argon plasma treatment on peri-implant soft tissue healing and integration in adult patients undergoing implant therapy. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does argon plasma treatment of healing abutments improve the quality and organization of peri-implant connective tissue compared to untreated abutments? Does the treatment influence histological parameters such as epithelial regeneration, vascularization, inflammatory infiltrate, and keratin layer thickness? Researchers will compare plasma-treated healing abutments to untreated machined-surface abutments to determine whether the bioactivated surface improves soft tissue morphogenesis. Participants will: Undergo implant placement with immediate connection of either a treated or untreated healing abutment. Have plaque and bleeding indices recorded at 3 months. Undergo a soft tissue biopsy at 3 months for histological analysis (including evaluation of inflammation, connective tissue, epithelial morphology, vascularization, and keratinization).

Effect of Bio-activation on Epithelial and Connective Cell Adhesion to Titanium Abutments: Split Mouth Clinical Trial

The aim of this "in vivo" controlled trial is to assess soft tissue cell adhesion to titanium abutments subjected to different cleaning procedures - no treatment (as they come from the industry), and cleaning by plasma- at an early healing time. In fact, the primary aim is Quantity and Quality of soft tissue adhesion at the microscopic level (e.g Fibronectin, Integrin-actin). The secondary Aim - Clinical parameters and outcomes - BOP, PPD, MBL (Marginal Bone Level to check influence of plasmapp-treated abutments). The null hypothesis of the study was that the cleaning procedure applied to implant abutments has no effect on soft tissue cell adhesion and MBL at an early healing time.
