Geriatric Nursing Training Program for Nursing Students
This research will be conducted using a parallel randomized controlled trial design to investigate the effects of a nursing education program grounded in Travelbe's Human-to-Human Relationship theory on willingness to work with elderly individuals, empathy levels, and communication skills. The sample group will consist of third-year nursing students at a state university (intervention: 24; control: 24). The Willingness to Work with Elderly Individuals Scale, the Kiersma-Chen Empathy Scale, and the Communication Skills Scale will be used to collect data. The intervention group will receive a six-session nursing education program based on Travelbe's Human-to-Human Relationship theory. A repeated-measures ANOVA will be used to compare the mean scores across groups on the scales. In addition, independent-samples t-tests will be used for pre-test and post-test comparisons within groups, and Cohen's d and eta-squared will be used to estimate effect sizes. The data will be examined for normality. Parametric tests (One-sample t-test, ANOVA) will be applied to data that show normal distribution, and nonparametric tests (Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Wilcoxon test, Friedman test) will be applied to data that do not show normal distribution.

Integrating AI-Assisted Design Thinking Into Nursing Education
The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to test whether an AI-assisted design thinking workshop can improve empathetic communication in undergraduate nursing students at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does the workshop improve students' empathy, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and patient-centred care attitudes? How do students experience the design thinking and AI-supported learning activities? Researchers will compare the intervention group with a wait-list control group to see whether the workshop leads to better outcomes. Participants will: complete a baseline questionnaire before the workshop; be randomly assigned to receive the workshop now or later; attend two tutorials in the intervention group, including design thinking activities and AI-simulated clinical scenarios; complete a follow-up questionnaire after the workshop; and, for some participants, join a short interview about their learning experience.

The Effect of Pecha-Kucha Method Training on the Knowledge and Skills of Nurses Regarding Anticoagulant Drug Administration
The research was conducted between January 2025 and May 2025 using a randomized controlled experimental design with a pre-test-post-test pproach. A total of 76 nurses working at a state university hospital in Istanbul participated in the study. The experimental group received training through the Pecha-Kucha method, while the control group received traditional instruction. Data were collected using the Individual Characteristics Form, the Nurses' Knowledge Assessment Form for Anticoagulant Drug Administration, the Skill Assessment Form for Anticoagulant Drug Administration, and the Visual Analog Scale.

Evaluation of the Efficiency of a Training Program Developed For Newly Graduate Nurses
Brief Summary: This research is a randomized, pre-test post-test control group, parallel group experimental study to evaluate the effectiveness of the language training program developed for newly graduated nurses. The study will be conducted with a total of 76 newly graduated nurses, 38 in the experimental group and 38 in the control group, at Etlik City Hospital Orthopedics-Neurology Hospital in Ankara. Participants will be informed about the study at the beginning of the study. Participants who agree to participate in the study and meet the eligibility criteria will be randomly assigned to groups by an independent statistician. The language training program will be applied to the experimental group, while no intervention will be made to the control group. The training program to be given to the experimental group will consist of a total of two days and four sessions (communication, speaking, patient safety, medical error), and each session will last 90 minutes. Data collection forms will be applied to the experimental and control groups before and after the training. Data collection forms include the descriptive characteristics form, working voice scale, effective communication skills scale, attitude scale in medical errors, and feedback about the language training program. Blinding of the raters will be applied to the participants to minimize bias. Data analysis will use statistical software that uses parametric tests for normally distributed data and nonparametric tests for non-normally distributed data.

Effect of Nasogastric Tube Care Training by Simulation-Based and Video-Based Methods on Nurses' Confidence, Satisfaction, and Practices
This randomized controlled trial will evaluate the effect of simulation-based and video-based training on nurses' confidence, satisfaction, and clinical practice related to nasogastric tube care, compared with a control group receiving routine training or usual practice. Nasogastric tube care is an essential nursing procedure that requires adequate knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to ensure safe and effective patient care. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: simulation-based training, video-based training, or control. The findings of this study will provide evidence on effective educational methods to improve nurses' performance in nasogastric tube care and support better quality of care.

Integrating Design Thinking Into Undergraduate Nursing Education
Previous studies have demonstrated that design thinking workshops can indeed produce these effects in healthcare education settings. However, its effectiveness in nursing curriculum is inconclusive. This research project aims to introduce and integrate design thinking principles into the undergraduate nursing program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the Nethersole School of Nursing. By implementing a comprehensive study encompassing desktop research, a 3-hour introductory workshop, and pre- and post-evaluations over a 9-month period, the investigators seek to enhance nursing students' problem-solving skills, empathy, creativity, collaboration, and patient-centered care attitude.
