Health Care Professionals Diet App Study
This study aims to evaluate MyDiet, a nutrition education app designed to improve nutrition knowledge among healthcare providers. In this randomized trial, participants will be assigned to one of two groups: an intervention group or a control crossover group. Participants in the intervention group will have access to the app for two months, while those in the control crossover group will receive access during the second month of their participation. The study will evaluate whether the app improves nutrition knowledge, has the potential to influence dietary behaviors, and supports healthcare providers in strengthening their ability to provide nutrition-related advice to their patients.

Piaget-Based Nutrition Education in Preschools
This explanatory sequential mixed-methods study evaluated a six-week Piaget-based nutrition education programme for preschool children. Seven public preschools were randomized at the school level to an intervention condition (three preschools) or a usual-curriculum control condition (four preschools). The intervention consisted of six weekly, approximately 30-minute, developmentally tailored sessions delivered to groups of children in their usual classrooms. Mothers completed measures of children's food consumption frequency, nutrition behavior, and eating behavior before and immediately after the programme. Following the quantitative phase, three focus groups with 18 mothers from intervention preschools explored perceived changes and helped interpret the quantitative patterns. Because preschool identifiers were not retained in the final analytical dataset, the reported child-level analyses did not adjust for clustering and are interpreted as exploratory.

The Effects of Structured Lactation Nutrition Education and Dali ni Horbo Supplementation on Maternal Nutritional Intake, Breastfeeding Practices, Infant Growth, and Gut Microbiota: A Randomized Controlled Trial
This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the effects of structured lactation nutrition education combined with Dali ni Horbo supplementation on maternal dietary intake, breastfeeding practices, infant growth, and infant gut microbiota. Lactating mothers with healthy infants aged 0-1 month will be recruited from selected primary healthcare centers in Medan, Indonesia, and assigned to an intervention or control group. The intervention group will receive structured nutrition education and daily Dali ni Horbo, a traditional Batak fermented buffalo milk product, while the control group will receive standard care. Maternal energy and nutrient intake, nutritional knowledge and attitudes, exclusive breastfeeding practices, maternal and infant anthropometric measurements, intervention adherence, adverse effects, and infant fecal microbiota composition will be assessed before and after the intervention. This study is expected to determine whether integrating nutrition education with a nutrient-dense local food can improve maternal nutritional adequacy, support exclusive breastfeeding, promote optimal infant growth, and beneficially influence early-life gut microbiota.

Growing Healthy Hearts
This proposal includes a prospective, parallel group, two-arm RCT with 264 adult-child dyads (adult age 18+, child ages 5-17 years) to examine the effectiveness of the Growing Healthy Hearts (GHH) intervention versus a wait list control on cardiovascular and behavioral health outcomes at 3-, 6- and 12-months follow-up (Aim 1). This proposal will also examine the effect of GHH on home fruit and vegetable (FV) availability, frequency of home-prepared meals that include FV, and child behaviors (FV intake and PA) at 3-, 6- and 12-month follow-up (Aim 2) and intervention implementation (Aim 3)

Article Title Impact of Targeted Nutrition Education on Dietary Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices
This study aimed to evaluate the impact of targeted nutrition education on dietary knowledge, attitudes, and practices among adults in the United Arab Emirates. A randomized controlled intervention design was used, in which participants were assigned to either a targeted nutrition education group or a general health education group. Data were collected before and after the intervention using a structured questionnaire assessing knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to functional foods. The study assessed changes in participants' understanding and behaviors following the educational intervention. The findings are expected to support the development of effective nutrition education strategies to improve dietary behaviors in the population.

Nutrition Education in Spine Surgery
The goal of this interventional study is to learn if having 15 minutes of surgery related nutrition education changes the food choices participants make during the time right before and after a spine surgery in participants who have a surgery with Dr. John Edwards. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does nutrition education at a participant's preoperative appointment help them choose healthier foods and drinks that help their recovery from surgery? * Does choosing to drink some extra nutrients before and after surgery help participants feel better and make it easier to have other foods and liquids after surgery? Researchers will compare participants getting extra education with those in a control group who have normal instructions from the clinic to see if extra education makes a difference in people's food choices. Researchers will also look at how well participants do with the extra nutrition they get before and after surgery, and if choosing to include it changes with the extra education. Participants will: * Complete 2 surveys (PROMIS global and food frequency) at both their preoperative and postoperative appointments * Complete one survey 2 days after their surgery asking about how well they did with liquids and solid foods in the 24 hours after surgery * Choose whether or not they decide to have a drink with extra nutrients before and after surgery, and let the researchers know what they chose.
