Correlation Between Postprandial Hypotension and Post-induction Hypotension in the Elderly.
Postprandial hypotension (PPH) and post-induction hypotension (PIH) are very common in the elderly population and are associated with a variety of poor outcomes. The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between PPH and perioperative adverse events such as PIH in the elderly.

The Relationship Between Hypotension and Tissue O2 in Invasive Eadyn During Anesthesia Induction in Open Heart Surgery
Our aim is to identify patients who may experience hypotension during anesthesia induction. Intraoperative hemodynamic stability plays an important role in tissue oxygenation. Although the duration of hypotension can be kept short with the necessary interventions, it is important that hypotension is predictable in order to prevent intraoperative complications and postoperative organ damage. 40 patients scheduled for open heart surgery will be monitored from one minute before anesthesia is administered until ten minutes after. Patients will be divided into two groups based on the presence or absence of hypotension during the monitoring period. All patients will be monitored according to a standardized procedure. Demographic data, non-invasive and invasive hemodynamic parameters, primarily Eadyn, and cerebral and renal tissue saturation data will be collected. Moreover, vasopressor administration in response to hypotension will be recorded.

SV and IVC Collapsibility Index to Predict Postinduction Hypotension
Postinduction hypotension (PIH) is a frequent complication during general anesthesia. This study aims to compare the predictive effectiveness and diagnostic accuracy of stroke volume (SV) measured via left ventricular outflow tract velocity time integral (LVOT-VTI) versus the inferior vena cava collapsibility index (IVC-CI) using transthoracic echocardiography. The assessment will be conducted in adult patients with intestinal obstruction undergoing exploratory abdominal surgery under general anesthesia.

Evaluation of the Relation Between Patient Fasting Time and the Occurrence of PIH (Post Induction Hypotension)
This monocentre prospective trial aims to evaluate the relationship between fasting time and the occurence of PIH (post-induction hypotension).

Low-dose Norepinephrine Infusion for Prevention of Post-induction Hypotension in Emergency Surgery for Peritonitis
This study tests whether giving a low-dose norepinephrine infusion just before induction of anesthesia can reduce low blood pressure during emergency surgery for peritonitis. Adults with secondary peritonitis who are scheduled for emergency surgery and have stable blood pressure after initial resuscitation will be randomly assigned to receive either norepinephrine or placebo (normal saline) during induction of anesthesia. The main outcome is the cumulative time spent with mean arterial pressure (MAP) below 65 mmHg from the start of propofol administration to 10 minutes after endotracheal intubation. The study will also evaluate rescue vasopressor use, heart rate changes, drug-related adverse events, and selected early postoperative outcomes.
