NCT07885761

REVIVE-FR Registry

This registry aims to investigate treatment options for patients whose previously implanted biological aortic heart valve no longer functions properly. As patients with severe aortic stenosis are increasingly younger and at lower surgical risk, more patients may experience bioprosthetic valve failure during their lifetime. Treatment options include implanting a new valve inside the existing valve using a catheter-based procedure, surgically removing the failed valve, or providing conservative medical treatment. The study will evaluate outcomes associated with these different treatment strategies to improve understanding of their benefits and risks and help guide future treatment decisions for patients with bioprosthetic valve failure.

Adjunctive Rifampin for the Treatment of Prosthetic Valve Endocarditis Due to S. Aureus

This is a sub-study of the S. aureus Network Adaptive Platform (SNAP) trial (NCT05137119) wherein we will evaluate whether not giving rifampin in patients with probable or definite prosthetic valve endocarditis due to S. aureus is non-inferior to giving rifampin.

Evolution of PET Fixation With FDG at the End of Antibiotic Treatment of Infective Endocarditis on Valvular Prosthesis

In patients with prosthetic valve endocarditis (PVE) and pathological valvular FDG uptake on the initial FDG-PET and not referred to valve replacement at the acute phase, the study will assess whether FDG-PET is able to identify those at increased risk of PVE relapse.
