Immune-Inflammatory Markers in Aortic Dissection
Identifying early on which patients with acute aortic dissection require closer monitoring may help with care planning. If simple, inexpensive values obtained from routine blood tests can provide additional information for assessing risk, this knowledge could in the future help physicians follow their patients more effectively. The aim of this study is to investigate this possibility scientifically. It is based on the evaluation of information obtained from blood tests that are already being performed. Its purpose is to generate general knowledge that may contribute to the care of future patients. The study itself does not change decisions about your treatment; all decisions regarding your treatment and follow-up rest with your doctor, who evaluates your condition in its entirety. It is designed to evaluate the relationship between preoperative/postoperative systemic immune-inflammatory and nutritional markers (SII, NLR, PLR, CAR, PNI) and indicators of mortality and morbidity (length of stay and changes in kidney function) in patients with acute aortic dissection. The goal is to investigate the potential of easily accessible laboratory parameters to contribute to risk stratification. The relationship between the markers and outcomes will be analyzed using appropriate statistical methods. This study is based on the evaluation of information in patients' existing medical records and blood tests. The data are processed in accordance with the relevant ethical rules and privacy principles, with patient identity kept confidential. Taking part in the study does not require any additional procedure, additional blood draw, or change in treatment.

Effect of a Focused Point-of-care Ultrasonography Screening Protocol in Hospitalized Patients
This research project aims to establish a real-time focused ultrasound examination protocol for routine assessment of hospitalized patients, including evaluations of the inferior vena cava (IVC), pericardial effusion, hydronephrosis, and ascites.

Impact of Trans-catheter Aortic Valve Implantation on Renal Function
Both contrast-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) and pre-existing chronic kidney disease are associated with an increased mortality risk in patients requiring aortic valve replacement. Nonetheless, the direct haemodynamic impact of the aortic barrage (i.e. pre-renal mechanism) on renal function compromising and its reversibility in patients undergoing trans-catheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is unknown. This registry aims to evaluate the effect of severe aortic stenosis removal on the risk of contrast-induced acute renal injury (CI-AKI) during TAVI procedures and on renal function evolution

Bispectral-Electroencephalography (EEG) in First Time Hemodialysis
The severity of minimal dialysis disequilibrium syndrome (DDS) is currently detected and graded clinically using clinical criteria. Bispectral Index (BIS), an electroencephalographic (EEG) derived parameter is widely used in anesthesia and Critical Care setting to detect effects of anesthetic/hypnotic drugs. The aim of our study was to assess the discriminative power of BIS monitoring to accurately detect DDS.

Efficacy and Tolerability of the APD Treatment in PAED Patients
The Silencia PD (peritoneal dialysis) cycler offers a pediatric (PAED) mode with advanced features such as Time and Volume Optimization (TAVO), supporting precise and individualized treatment. This study evaluates the efficacy and tolerability of Automated Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) using the Silencia PD cycler in patients weighing ≤ 20 kg and able to tolerate a minimum inflow volume of 100 mL. The primary objective is to determine whether patients achieve a total weekly Kt/Vurea ≥ 1.8.
