Phase 2b Study of a Respiratory Syncytial Virus and Human Metapneumovirus (RSV+HMPV) Protein Vaccine Candidate in Adults 60 Years of Age and Older
Study VCA25397 is a Phase 2b, observer-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel, case-driven proof of concept study that will enroll approximately 8000 adults aged 60 years and older to assess the clinical efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of a single IM (intramuscular) injection of the bivalent RSV+HMPV protein vaccine candidate. The study will include a Safety Lead-in Cohort that will be enrolled first and will comprise 200 participants aged 60 years and older randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either RSV+HMPV protein vaccine or placebo (100 participants per arm). The enrollment of the Main Cohort will start after the completion of the ESDR (Early Safety Data Review), pending a positive outcome. For the Main Cohort, 7800 participants (3900 participants per arm) will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either RSV+HMPV protein vaccine or placebo.

A Study to Learn About the Vaccine RSVpreF In Pregnant Participants With HIV and Their Infants
The purpose of the study is to learn about the safety and immune activity of the RSVpreF vaccine. It will be studied in infants born to mothers living with HIV. These infants may have higher chances of getting sick or dying due to RSV infection. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common type of virus (germ) that can cause severe illness (airway diseases), where medical help is needed. Vaccines help your body make antibodies which help fight against diseases. The antibodies are substances your body uses to fight off an infection. The antibodies can be passed to the infant through the placenta of the mother. The study will look at the safety, tolerability, and immune activity in mothers and their infants. This study is seeking pregnant women who are: * Less than or equal to 49 years old and have HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus - * Receiving standard medical care during the pregnancy * Do not have syphilis (bacterial sexually transmitted disease), Hepatitis B Virus ((HBV) liver infection), Tuberculosis ((TB) bacterial lung infection). * Have been on stable (anti-retroviral) HIV treatment for more than or equal to 90 days. * agree to be present for all study visits, procedures, and blood draws. Participants will either receive: * RSVpreF vaccine * A placebo. A placebo does not have any medicine it but looks just like the study vaccine. Pregnant participants will be involved in the study from: * consent during their current pregnancy, and * for 6 months after delivery of their baby (around 10 months in total). Pregnant participants will have at least 5 planned visits in this study. Infant participants: All eligible babies born to enrolled mothers will be followed up from birth for up to 6 months. Infant participants will have at least 3 study visits, with some site visits allowed to happen via home visits or over the telephone.

Impact and Effectiveness of ABRYSVO® Vaccination During Pregnancy
This study will be conducted in collaboration with a research network of independent hospital sites to evaluate the vaccine effectiveness (VE) and impact of ABRYSVO vaccination during pregnancy in a real-world population over multiple seasons, which began in 2024 across Argentina and beginning in 2025 in Uruguay. We will use three retrospective design approaches in this study: (i) a test negative design (TND) to evaluate real-world VE of maternal ABRYSVO against RSV-associated outcomes in infants; (ii) a descriptive cohort design to evaluate the clinical evolution of infants hospitalized with RSV-positive lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD); and (iii) an ecologic before-and-after design to evaluate the impact of ABRYSVO vaccination during pregnancy on infant RSV-associated and all-cause respiratory outcomes.

STudy of Real World vaccinE Effectiveness of maTernal RSVpreF vaccinatiON Against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in Hospitalised Infants in Australia (STREETON)
This Pfizer-sponsored real-world retrospective non-interventional study will be conducted within a research network comprised of independent hospitals across Australia using data collected during routine standard of care clinical encounters available in health records, supplemented with information from the official national immunisation registry, the Australian Immunisation Register. Additional data from accredited pathology laboratories will be included. There will be no active enrollment of study participants, no direct contact with study participants, and no collection of any primary data outside of the standard of care. This study will use a test negative design to evaluate real-world vaccine effectiveness of RSVpreF vaccination during pregnancy against RSV-associated outcomes in infants.

Assessing Antiviral Treatments in Early Symptomatic RSV
This trial will use a previously validated platform, to quantitatively assess antiviral effects in low-risk patients with high viral burdens and uncomplicated Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), to determine in-vivo antiviral activity. In this randomised, open-label, controlled, group sequential adaptive platform trial, we will assess and compare the performance of currently licensed interventions (including repurposed drugs) with activity against RSV, and those with potential activity demonstrated in pre-clinical and early clinical studies relative to each-other, and the control (no antiviral treatment).
