Impact of Self-Care Family Planning Services on Health and Development in South Sudan (Family Planning Impact Lab)
Since 2019, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) has led family planning programming under the Women's Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) program, funded by the United Kingdom's Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office. This study will assess contraceptive-related outcomes in communities in South Sudan where the IRC is implementing a standard set of family planning services. Approximately one year into their standard implementation, the IRC will develop additional interventions to augment the standard, which this study will evaluate over the subsequent three years. This additive intervention will aim to optimize last-mile service delivery by increasing access to self-managed family planning methods, such as oral contraceptive pills, emergency contraception, and self-injectable contraception. This study is independent of the IRC and is one of four studies in the Guttmacher Institute's Family Planning Impact Lab (FPIL). FPIL intends to produce experimental research, estimating the causal impact of various family planning interventions on women's broader health, wellbeing, and development outcomes in South Sudan, Somalia, Chad, and Sierra Leone.

From Administration of Oral Medicines by Nurses to Controlled Self-administration: Impact on Safety of Administration During Hospitalisation
Medication administration practices during patient hospital stay tend to improve patient autonomy. Several studies have concluded that self-administration of medication programs in hospital centers have a beneficial effect on patients' knowledge of their medications, their compliance and the safety of administration. Nevertheless, few studies have been carried out in France on this subject. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of the change of nurses administration practices from the administration of each drugs to supervision of self-administration by the patient under a self-administration program.

Empowering Preschool Children With Personal Safety Skills
Preschool children are vulnerable to preventable accidents due to limited hazard awareness. This randomized controlled study evaluated the effectiveness of a Multiple Intelligences Theory-based Personal Safety Education Program (MIT-based PSEP) on preschool children's safety knowledge and skills. Sixty children aged 4-5 years were randomly assigned to an intervention group (n=30) or a control group (n=30). The intervention group received eight interactive MIT-based sessions, while the control group received routine education. Data were collected pre- and post-intervention using the Personal Safety and First Aid Subscale and analyzed with mixed-design ANOVA.
