Dyadic STEP-SexPCare for Sexual Health in Chinese Prostate Cancer Survivors and Their Female Partners
This pilot feasibility randomized controlled trial will evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, safety, and preliminary effects of Dyadic STEP-SexPCare, a culturally tailored, nurse-led psychosexual programme for Hong Kong Chinese prostate cancer survivors and their female partners after primary treatment. Approximately 72 couples (144 participants) will be randomized 1:1 at the couple level to Dyadic STEP-SexPCare plus standard prostate cancer survivorship care or standard survivorship care alone. Dyadic STEP-SexPCare contains six core components delivered over a planned 6 weeks, with an allowable 6-8-week completion window: four live nurse-led dyadic sessions and two self-paced modules. The programme addresses sexual recovery, couple communication, intimacy, mutuality, dyadic coping, emotional adjustment, sexual adaptation, and shared intimacy planning through a Screen-Tailor-Escalate-Plan approach. Outcomes will be assessed at baseline before randomization, post-intervention at approximately Week 8, and 3 months after the intervention. The primary aim is to assess the feasibility, acceptability, safety, and implementation of the intervention and trial procedures. Secondary analyses will estimate preliminary between-group effects on sexual functioning, mutuality, dyadic coping, psychological distress, and quality of life to inform a future definitive randomized controlled trial.

Anthesis: A Transdiagnostic Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-Based Approach to Sexual Distress: Testing a Pilot Online Intervention
This pilot study, named Anthesis, evaluates the preliminary efficacy of an online pilot study for sexual distress related to sexual function (SDRSF) in adults. Anthesis is theoretically anchored on a transdiagnostic CBT-based approach to SDRSF. The experience of sexual distress, especially sexual distress related to sexual function (SDRSF), is associated with poorer physical health, poorer mental health, and relational conflicts, which makes the development of theoretically and empirically sustained clinical interventions to eliminate or minimize it fundamental. In this project, the authors will attempt to answer the overall research question: "Does an online intervention aimed at transdiagnostic factors prove to have preliminary efficacy in reducing SDRSF?" Driven by both theory and empirical evidence on the comorbidity between emotional disorders and sexual dysfunctions, this project will focus on SDRSF (as a primary outcome variable). It will be considered a secondary outcome of sexual function and sexual pleasure. Anthesis consists of eight modules (one module per week) delivered online. Participants will be divided into two conditions: an experimental condition that will start the intervention after the screening and a waiting list control condition (WLC) that will only begin its intervention after participants in the experimental condition have completed it.

THE INFLUENCE OF COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY IN SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION FEMALE: Randomized Clinical Trial
This research is a randomized clinical trial aims to evaluate the influence of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy (CBT) on quality of life and sexual function of patients with sexual dysfunction. The notion of sexual health for the World Health Organization exceeds the concept of sickness absence, having a subjective well-being of significance in the spheres of self-concept, self-image, interpersonal relationships and sense of self worth. Furthermore, sexual satisfaction and relationship quality of life is also evidenced in many studies. CBT is a brief and focal psychotherapy with proven efficacy in several mental disorders, improving health and quality of life of the treated populations. However, they did not find clinical trials that showed the effectiveness of CBT in Sexual Dysfunctions. This study aims to then fill this gap by evaluating the relationship from the use of techniques of CBT.
