A Retrospective Chart Abstraction to Investigate the Prevalence of Chronic Sialorrhea, and the Real-world Use of incobotulinumtoxinA Injections in Male and Female Participants Aged 18 Years and Older With Chronic Sialorrhea

A retrospective, multicenter chart abstraction to investigate the prevalence of chronic sialorrhea, and the real-world use of incobotulinumtoxinA injections in male and female participants aged 18 years and older with chronic sialorrhea. Patients who come to a neurologic clinic in the past 6 months from the start date will be screened by searching for the ICD-10 code and diagnosis of sialorrhea and cross-referencing with those patients also being prescribed incobotulinumtoxinA. Data will be retrieved from the electronic medical record.

Efficacy and Safety Study of MYOBLOC® in the Treatment of Sialorrhea in Adult Subjects

This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of MYOBLOC in the treatment of Sialorrhea (drooling), which can be a symptom of many disease conditions. MYOBLOC will be injected directly into the salivary glands. MYOBLOC has been shown in previous trials to safely decrease saliva production, thereby demonstrating its potential as a safe and effective treatment for troublesome sialorrhea.

NCT07516860

Effect of SCS Technique on Oromotor Skills in Children With CP

This study evaluates the clinical efficacy of the Strain Counter-Strain (SCS) technique on improving oromotor functions in children with spastic cerebral palsy. The intervention specifically targets the masseter, SCM, upper trapezius, scalenes, and suprahyoid muscles to release myofascial tension. The study aims to determine if modulating muscle tone through SCS can provide a stable postural foundation to enhance functional oral motor skills. Outcomes are measured after 4 weeks (one month) of intervention, focusing on mouth opening range, drooling frequency and severity, and overall oral motor functions
