Randomized Controlled Trial Of Text Messages To Increase Pneumococcal Vaccination In Adults In Chile.
The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to learn if text message reminders sent through WhatsApp increase pneumococcal vaccination coverage in adults turning 65 years old in Chile. The main questions it aims to answer are: Do text message reminders increase the proportion of adults aged 65 years who receive the pneumococcal vaccine compared to usual care? Do text message reminders increase pneumococcal vaccination coverage within the first 7 days after the message is sent? Is there an association between socioeconomic factors and pneumococcal vaccination coverage in adults aged 65 years in Chile? Researchers will compare adults who receive a text message reminder to adults who receive no reminder (usual care) to see if the reminders increase vaccination uptake. Participants will: Be randomly assigned to receive a WhatsApp text message reminder about the pneumococcal vaccine or to receive no reminder Receive a second reminder on day 14 if they have not yet been vaccinated (intervention group only) Be followed for 6 weeks, with vaccination status checked at days 7, 21, and 42 from the start of the intervention

Communication Intervention to Improve Influenza Vaccination Rates Among Elderly in Can Tho
This study evaluates the effectiveness of a multi-component community-based communication intervention to increase influenza vaccination rates among adults aged above 65 years in Can Tho City, Vietnam. Using a cluster randomised controlled trial design with stratified lottery randomisation, four study sites were selected from eight sites surveyed in a prior study: O Mon Ward and Truong Thanh Commune (intervention); Phuoc Thoi Ward and Truong Xuan Commune (control). The intervention includes community health education sessions, healthcare worker training, household visits, health communication banners, and Zalo-based vaccination reminders, delivered over 12 months (September 2025 to September 2026). Effectiveness is assessed by comparing pre- and post-intervention outcomes using Difference-in-Differences (DID) analysis.

Impact of an e-Bug Educational Intervention on HPV and Meningococcal ACWY Vaccine Uptake in Middle School Students
"This study is a non-interventional observational pilot analysis assessing the possible impact of an educational programme (e-Bug) on parental consent and HPV and meningococcal ACWY vaccination uptake during the 2025-2026 national school-based vaccination campaigns in France. The study focuses on one middle school in the Alpes-Maritimes department and PACA region where teachers and the school nurse had been previously trained on vaccination and used e-Bug educational resources in class as part of routine health education. No research-related intervention was conducted, and the educational programme was not introduced or modified for the purpose of the study. Only aggregated and anonymised vaccination data were used. These data were routinely collected by the Regional Health Agency (ARS PACA) as part of the national vaccination programme and transmitted for analysis. Aggregated data from the pilot school were compared with departmental-level outcomes to describe whether an upstream educational approach may be associated with improved parental acceptance and higher hpv and meningococcal acwy vaccination coverage. This study aims to contribute to the understanding of educational determinants of vaccine uptake in a real-life school setting without involving any participant recruitment or individual data collection."
