Testing the Effectiveness of the Turkish Nurses' Earthquake Management Model
The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to learn whether an education program based on the Turkish Nurses' Earthquake Management Model improves earthquake preparedness and earthquake intervention competence among nurses working in public hospitals in Türkiye. The model was developed from the experiences of nurses who worked during the 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes and covers the pre-earthquake, during-earthquake and post-earthquake phases. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does model-based education increase nurses' earthquake preparedness? Does model-based education increase nurses' earthquake intervention competence? Are these gains maintained three months after the education? Researchers will compare an intervention group, which receives the model-based education, with a control group, which receives no education. Participants in the intervention group will complete a 13-session online video-based education program (about 15-20 minutes per session) through a university learning management system within 30 days. All participants will complete the Earthquake Preparedness Scale for Nurses and the Earthquake Intervention Competence Scale before the education, after the education and at a three-month follow-up.

The Effect of Parent Mediated Intervention Program on Children With ASD Exposed to Earthquake in Turkey in February 2023
After devastating natural events such as earthquakes, individuals with special needs experience much more difficulties. There is a limited number of studies investigating the impact of disasters on individuals with autism. Studies show that resilience and recovery of pre-disaster functioning in young people with autism largely depends on their immediate inclusion in routine, intensive rehabilitation programs and the stabilization of daily life routines as much as possible. Children with autism had to interrupt their education due to many reasons such as the destruction of special education centers due to the earthquake and the temporary or permanent relocation of families to different cities. The fact that individuals with autism stayed away from education after the earthquake caused parents' stress and anxiety levels to increase. Parent involvement, a standard intervention practice in ASD, shows that teaching intervention strategies to parents can improve children's outcomes and increase parental effectiveness. Researchers aim in this study is to investigate the effect of the online group-based parent-mediated intervention program on autism symptoms, the effect on behavioral problems and the effect on parental mental health of children with autism spectrum disorder whose education life was interrupted 8 months after the earthquake, who had major changes in their lives (such as loss of relatives, loss of health, work, home, anxiety, having to change cities ...). Online group-based intervention program ist designed to improve the interaction, play, speech and learning skills of children with autism symptoms, taking into account the earthquake conditions.

Effects of the Mobile Application Developed for Families After the Earthquake on First Aid Knowledge and Burn Prevention
The aim of this project was to determine the effect of the burn prevention and first aid mobile application developed for families living in tent cities and container houses after the earthquake on the burn prevention and first aid knowledge of families and the development of burns in the first two months after the mobile application. The research was planned as a prospective, two-arm (1:1), randomized controlled trial. The study population will consist of families living in tent cities and container houses in Şanlıurfa. As a result of the power analysis performed in the G\*Power program, the sample group will consist of 30 families from the tent city and 30 families from the container city, taking into account the losses with a power of 90% and a maximum bidirectional 5% type error. All of the families (30 mobile application-study group; 30 control group) who make up the sample of the research will be given a training (powerpoint presentation) prepared by the researcher in line with the literature, and burn prevention and first aid practices will be explained and their questions will be answered. Then, the training to be given with the mobile application will be downloaded to the phones of the families in the experimental group and the training will continue through the application. In the study, data will be collected with the "Descriptive Characteristics Form", "Information Form on Burn Prevention and First Aid" and "Burn Development Follow-up Form", which include the descriptive information of the families. The data obtained from the study will be analyzed in computer environment.

Home Visit Simulation-based Earthquake Preparedness Training for Nursing Students
In earthquake preparedness, nurses, who constitute the largest group among healthcare professionals, are expected to play an active role. Public health nurses, with their population-focused protection philosophy, are at the forefront of managing the earthquake preparedness phase. Public health nurses play an active role in practices such as providing health education through home visits, identifying household risks and taking preventive measures, and organizing drills. In this context, nurses need to have sufficient knowledge and skills to take appropriate interventions. However, managing an effective preparedness process is not limited to knowledge and skills alone; it also requires the development of nurses' attitudes and beliefs towards disasters. Therefore, it is of great importance that nursing students graduate with positive attitudes and strong beliefs about earthquake preparedness, in addition to their knowledge and skills. However, developing these skills necessitates the use of experiental learning-based educational methods instead of traditional teaching methods. Therefore, this study was planned to examine the effect of home visit simulation-based earthquake preparedness training, which offers experiental learning opportunities, on nursing students' communication skills, earthquake awareness, and self-regulated learning skills.

The Effect of Education Provided to Adolescents Living in a Container Settlement on Their Genital Hygiene Behaviours and Menstrual Experiences
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of education provided to adolescents living in a container city, tailored to their needs regarding genital and menstrual hygiene, on their genital hygiene behaviours and menstrual experiences. The training is planned to consist of a total of two sessions (four hours), with each session lasting two hours, held twice a week (Saturdays and Sundays), with a maximum of 15 adolescent girls in each group. The training schedule will be determined based on the days and times suitable for the adolescents. In addition, a copy of the educational material prepared for the training will be provided to each adolescent girl. Appropriate interactive educational techniques (demonstration, role-play, question-and-answer, brainstorming, games, etc.) relevant to the topic will be used in each session of the educational program. Prior to the education, the adolescent girls will be asked to complete the Demographic Characteristics Form, the Genital Hygiene Behaviour Scale (GHDÖ) and the Menstrual Experiences Scale (MDÖ) based on self-reports. Following the final session of the education programme, these adolescent girls will be asked to complete these forms again. Finally, following the collection of the final test data, follow-up data will be collected from the adolescents at the end of the third month.
