Use of Hydrogen Sulphide Donor (N-acetyl Cysteine) in Cases With Acute Ischemic Stroke
1. Clarify novel systemic and local inflammatory mechanisms underlying the cross talk between brain and heart ischemic states, 2. Investigate the new aspects of NAC beyond traditional therapy, in cerebral and myocardial ischemic conditions, both in animal models and clinical cases.

Clinical Impact of Using IMPROVE to Select Patients for Carotid Revascularisation
Narrowing of the carotid artery due to atherosclerosis with an unstable plaque can cause a stroke. Patients with carotid artery disease who have had a TIA or minor stroke and are at high risk of another stroke are often treated with surgery or stenting to remove the plaque. For lower-risk patients, medication alone is the better option, as surgery also carries risks. A new decision method, based on MRI detection of unstable plaques (IMPROVE), can better assess stroke risk and help determine which patients do or do not need surgery. We are investigating whether this method is at least as effective as the standard approach, which mainly considers the degree of narrowing. We expect that this new method will help reduce strokes and lower healthcare costs. Patients will be followed for several years to compare which method is better for health and costs.

Ongericimab Injection Reducing Recurrence of Ischemic Stroke
The Oris trial aims to evaluate whether the use of Ongericimab injection in patients with atherosclerotic ischemic cerebrovascular disease within 3 months of onset can reduce the risk of recurrent major cardiovascular events by achieving lower lipid-lowering target values (LDL-C \< 1.4 mmol/L).

Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervention for Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease and Diabetes Mellitus: An Efficacy Comparative Study
The objective of this observational study is to understand the long-term effects of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) intervention on patients with cerebral infarction onset within \<48 hours and comorbid diabetes. The primary question it aims to address is: Can long-term TCM intervention for the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease comorbid with diabetes improve patients' neurological deficits and self-care ability? Participants receiving TCM intervention (universal treatment combined with syndrome-specific treatment) as part of routine cerebrovascular disease management will undergo follow-up assessments at 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, and 12 months within 1 year to evaluate neurological status (e.g., mRS score, NIHSS score) and quality of life indicators.
