Motor Learning Approaches in Periodontal Treatment Education
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of different motor learning approaches in preclinical non-surgical periodontal treatment education among dental students. Participants will be assigned to different educational approaches, including implicit learning, explicit learning, and analogical learning, during training for tooth surface cleaning procedures.
Students' practical performance in tooth surface cleaning, clinical skill development, and perceptions regarding the educational process will be assessed using standardized practical evaluations and questionnaires. The findings of this study may contribute to improving evidence-based educational methods for teaching psychomotor skills in periodontal education and enhancing clinical training efficiency in dental education.
