Hypofractionated Radiotherapy With Magnetic Resonance Imaging-Guided Focal Boost and Pelvic Irradiation in High-Risk Prostate Cancer
This study evaluated long-term disease control and side effects of a moderately hypofractionated radiotherapy protocol for men with high-risk prostate cancer. The protocol combined three strategies in one course of 25 treatments: a higher dose (focal boost) to the tumor seen on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a reduced dose to the uninvolved parts of the prostate, and elective irradiation of the pelvic lymph nodes, together with hormone therapy. Patients were included at Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway, from 2014 to 2017, with outcomes evaluated up to 10 years after treatment.

Profiling of Radiological Factors in Treatment and Outcomes in Prostate Cancer
Background: Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers for men in the U.S. There are some new ways to take pictures of the cancer. There are also new ways to use image-guided biopsy and therapy. These could help manage prostate cancer. Researchers want to study how imaging can provide a profile of prostate cancer. They want to collect data to make diagnosis and treatments better. Objectives: To gather data about the radiological and clinical course of prostate cancer. To study imaging-based biomarkers of prostate cancer. Eligibility: Men ages 18 and older with diagnosed or suspected prostate cancer Design: Participants will give permission for researchers to use their medical history and records. Their data will be reviewed, collected, and analyzed. These include results of their tests and scans. Sponsoring Institution: National Cancer Institute

Intraoperative Driving Pressure and Postoperative Lung Ultrasound Score in Robot-Assisted Radical Prostatectomy
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the relationship between intraoperative driving pressure and postoperative lung ultrasound scores in patients undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. During this specific surgery, factors such as pneumoperitoneum and patient positioning can significantly affect respiratory mechanics. Postoperative lung condition will be objectively assessed using the lung ultrasound score (LUS). The findings may provide valuable insights for optimizing intraoperative mechanical ventilation strategies.
